Yemen, France hold Paris talks

Deputy Foreign minister Mohyee al-Din al-Dhabbi met on Thursday in the French capital of Paris with Nicolas Galey, the technical advisor for North Africa and the Middle East at the Elysee Palace. The meeting dealt with the developments in the MENA region and the two countries' views over them.In the meeting, Galey underlined the importance France attaches to its ties with Yemen, saying his country is really seeking further cooperation between the two friends particularly in the field of oil and gas.On the other side, al-Dhabbi met with Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs Pierre Sellal and director of the North Africa and Middle East Department at the ministry Bernard Emie.The meeting discussed the bilateral relationship between Yemen and France as well as coordination to combat piracy off Somalia.The meeting also discussed ways to boost French investments in Yemen and strengthen the cultural cooperation between the two friendly states.
