Yemen holds Geneva talks on WTO accession

Minister of Industry and Trade Yahya al-Mutawakil met on Tuesday in Geneva with Trade ministers of the U.S., Canada and Japan. he meeting, held on the margins of the Seventh Session of the WTO Ministerial Conference, dealt with Yemen's negotiations with each country of the foreign ministers over its accession into the World Trade Organization next year.
Earlier, al-Mutawakil attended the meeting of least developed countries held on the margins of the WTO ministerial conference.The meeting discussed several topics including ways of boosting cooperation among least developed countries to facilitate their accession into the WTO.Yemen's participation in the meeting was as an observer along with 30 countries
