Road and transport sector, both domestic and external in Wadi Hadhramaut and Sahraa saw a remarkable development. Companies that offer this service within the Districts are ten, six out of these are international transport companies (Bin Muammar and Quraish, Al-muna, tAl-khaleej, Al-manal. and Ardh Al-showg) and the other four are domestic carriers, namely, (Al-nagl Al-jamaaiy, Al-musaafer,al-nour and Al-namer).
Mr. Mohammed Abdullah bin Shaaban General Manager Office of Transport for the Wadi and Sahraa said that a number of factors that helped this development. The most important one was the accord given by the the Government in modernizing road network and giving more attention to it. This led to link all the provinces and the ports, pointing to the existence of urban transport fleet between internal Districts and cities of Wadi Hadhramaut and other provinces. also the presence of various bus stations that facilitate the movement of citizens, which is supervised by the Office of Transport .. He called on businessmen to invest in public transport and cargo transport, especially Thanking the Ministry of Transport and the local authority to overcome the difficulties facing the work flow.
