The government and representatives Gulf Funds will hold their fourth
meeting next Monday to follow up financial allowances for projects
included in the five-year economic and social developmental plan
(2006-2007).
The meeting, which will discuss financial aids to Yemen in accordance with pledges made in London conference of donors, will come two day before the meeting the government with donor countries, organizations and funds scheduled on June 21-22 for discussions over financial commitments of donors to Yemen.
Planning and International Cooperation Minister Abdul-Karim al-Arhabi said the meetings would evaluate the work process to implement projects being funded by donors. He said that 54% of financial pledges have been achieved.
