Foreign Minister Dr. Abu Bakr al-Qerbi has confirmed that the Islamic
nation has to build a moderate media speech strategy to remove the
misperception of Islam,
which was used by others in a campaign against the noble values of Islam and distort the image of Muslims and stigmatize them by terrorism and extremism.
Al-Qerbi manifests in a speech he delivered before the 34 session of the Islamic Conference of Islamic countries Foreign Ministers meeting in Islamabad that the Islamic states have to proceed with the implementation of the approved strategies and visions and develop mechanisms for implementing them and approval the statement of ten-year Program endorsed by the leaders of the Islamic countries in the special summit held in Mecca in 2005.
It is an effective mean of the harmonization process required to meet the challenges of the 21st century and by careful and confident steps.
He pointed to the importance of creation economic relations between countries are based among organization states and strengthen the partnership among them and consolidating the foundations of development listed on the intertwined interests and diversity of investment opportunities and the establishment of an Islamic Common Market to face economic blocs and the substantive dealings with the international economy to ensure positive benefit from globalization and mitigate their negative effects.
He added that Arab countries determined to reach a just peace with the Israeli occupation in accordance with the Arab peace initiative adopted at the 19th Arab summit held in Riyadh based on the resolutions of international legitimacy.
