Yemeni-Saudi media talks start in Riyadh

Yemeni-Saudi information talks have begun in Riyadh under the co-chairmanship of Minister of Information Hassan al-Lawzi and Saudi Culture and Information minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja. The talks were focused on mutual cooperation between the two neighbors in the information field, particularly between their news agencies and other journalist institutions as well as TV and radio corporations.The two sides also discussed ways to implement media cooperation programs over 2010-2012.At the opening, Saudi minister welcomed Yemeni delegation, praising the high level of cooperation between the kingdom and Yemen in various areas.For his part, al-Lawzi expressed thanks to Saudi side for the warm reception and generous hospitality.He affirmed the deep and strong ties between the two brotherly countries.'This visit was aimed at boosting the bilateral relationship and developing them in several fields in addition to benefiting from the media experiences in Saudi Arabia in order to contribute to carrying out the training courses held by the Media Institute in Sana'a and Aden cities, al-Lawzi added.
