Yemen, Oman discuss cooperation in social affaires

A Yemeni-Omani state talk session co-chaired by Labour and Social Affairs Minister Amat al-Razaq Humad and Omani Minister of Social Development Sharifa Al Yahyaeiyah kicks off on Wednesday in Oman's capital, Muscat. The session focused on the role of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in social care in addition to some issues related to disabled training, women development and productive families.The two sides exchanged information and experiences on these areas, concentrating on upgrading the social solidarity and the aid granted to support small projects and loans.In the session, the Yemeni and Omani sides emphasized the importance of exchanging experiences and legislations in areas of productive families and women and childhood.Minister of Labour and Social Affairs Amat al-Razaq Humad has extended an official invitation to her Omani counterpart Sharifa Al Yahyaeiyah to visit Yemen as soon as possible to complete talks in all areas.The Yemeni delegation commenced on Wednesday its official visit program to Oman and holding the joint talks after the participation in the 26th round of the Labor and Social Affaires Ministers of Gulf Cooperation Council States convened in Muscat, Oman.
