Discourse on Hadramis’ impact overseas

Dr.Sadeq Maknoon, vice dean of Ahgaff University, has given a lecture on the great influence of the people of Hadramout out of the country, mainly in southeast of Asia and east Africa, “Hadramis’ impact is worldwide”.
“There is injustice in displaying the role. Many people said that Islam had reached Asia and Africa is by the Chinese and others said they are the Indian who made the change. This is not true and injustice” he added.
The Malaysian-educated lecturer said that Hadramis has a special characteristic which enabled them to spread Islam easily “They succeeded in getting people’s heart because of their flexibility with the host societies. They looked at those people as partners not enemies so they enjoyed peaceful coexistence with the communities”.
The lecture was attended by many intellectual and writers of the Yemeni Writers Union.
