The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM) praised on Wednesday Yemen indicators and progress achieved in the fields of eradicating tuberculosis, known as TB, and immunization.
During a meeting chaired by Minister of Public Health and Population Abdul-Karim Rase'a and included GFATM delegation and World Health Organization (WHO) representatives, they discussed the achieved results from the GFATM grant for the seventh round and tuberculosis's fourth one. The meeting also reviewed indicators to be achieved as well as the approval of an urgent plan on accelerating the activities of the National Malaria Control Programme (NMCP) and others.
