Local council approves 2006 fiscal year's final account

In its regular meeting, the local council of Hadramout approved yesterday the final account of the fiscal year of last year with revenues of YR 19,624,958,000 and the expenditure amounted to YR16, 754,094,000.
The council, which was chaired by the governor, emphasized on providing all the facilities to the Yemeni expatriates through al-Wadia border crossing especially in the summer vacation and it also emphasized the importance of paying attention to the rural areas water supply through comprehensive study.
The council discussed other issues like stopping the skyrocketing prices of stuffs and increasing the amounts of loans to the beneficiaries of the fund.
The council thanked the minister of oil for responding the invitation to the regular meeting of the council and answering the questions that are related to the ministry.
