Yemen, USAID concludes workshop on school year 2009-2010 preparation

Education Ministry Training Support Project funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) concluded on Wednesday a workshop on the preparation of the school year 2009- 2010 in each of Amran, Hodeidah and Raymah governorates .
More than 75 participants from the educational offices and school principals were introduced, over four days, to skills and knowledge of preparing plans and writing school reports to improve the educational process. Undersecretary Education Minister for Training and Rehabilitation Sector Abdullah Lamlas pointed out that they trained 55 thousand teachers, including 18 thousand teachers of grades 1-3, since the beginning of the current year at a cost of 430 million Riyals funded by donors to improve the educational process. For his part, director of Training Support Project Abdul-Salam al-Kuhlani affirmed the importance of planning to improve work performance through preparing strategies, budgets and work expanding.
