SANA'A, Dec. 19 (Saba)-The Cabinet discussed on Tuesday a paper over setting up an airline company for internal flights.
The paper was presented by Prime Minister, Minister of Transport and Board Chairman of Yemenia Airways.
The paper suggested the structure of the new company and its advantages for serving transport sector in the country.
The cabinet voiced support for the paper by buying three airplanes for transporting passengers between governorates of the nation.
It said that the suggestion of setting up the new company should be discussed with the Saudi side who is the partner of the Yemeni
government in the Yemenia Company.
Meanwhile, the Cabinet approved results of the official talks between Yemeni and Pakistani joint committee which were held during 10 to 12 December. The two sides signed agreements and a memorandum of understanding to developmutual cooperation in agriculture, trade, education, and culture.
