The Higher Ministerial Committee in
charge of examining the problems of expatriates held its second meeting on
Monday headed by Foreign Minister Abu-Bakr al-Qirbi.
The meeting, attended by ministers
of Expatriates Affairs, Social Affairs, Higher Education, Transport and
representatives of some concerned bodies, discussed the executive matrix and
the mission of the committee.Minister of Expatriates Affairs
Ahmed Musaed Hussein said in remarks to Saba
that the meeting comes to implement the cabinet's decision on the expatriates
situations, particularity health insurance and giving a quota for the Yemeni
employees in the GCC's states.
He said that the meeting would also
discuss means to encourage expatriates to invest in Yemen and solve the problems of
investment.The recommendations, which would be
put by the committee, will be applied to all Yemenis in Arab countries, Europe,
Asia, Africa and the two Americas,
Hussein said.
