The grant was handed over by Qatari ambassador to Yemen Jassem Abdul Aziz Al-Buainain to deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Mohammed Mutaher.During their meeting held in Sana'a, Al-Buainain and Mutaher discussed mechanisms of activating cultural and scientific cooperation between the two countries in the field of higher education.The Yemeni official expressed appreciation to Qatar for the annual support provided to the Ministry of Higher Education since 1997 in order to educate Yemeni students in a number of Arab and foreign countries, pointing to the distinguished relations between the two countries in various fields.For his part, the Qatari diplomat affirmed his country's keenness on strengthening cooperation between the two countries for further development in various fields
