Foreign currency reserves decreased last July to $ 6.7 billion at $ 315 million compared to June of 2009, Central Bank of Yemen (CBY) said .Foreign currency reserves decreased last July to $ 6.7 billion at $ 315 million compared to June of 2009, Central Bank of Yemen (CBY) said.
Recently, the bank stated that oil revenues of Yemen decreased during the first seven months of 2009 to $ 803.4 million compared to $ 3.1 billion during same period of last year.The CBY report attributes such decrease to reduction of the government's shares of oil from 27 million barrels in 2008 to 15 million barrels in 2009, and decrease of oil price globally
