Basic Education Examination Results for the Academic Year 2008-2009 was announced today in Mukalla for Hadhramaut Coastal Districts
In a statement to Yemen News Agency (SABA) The General Director of the Office of the Ministry of Education, Hadramout coast Dr., Saleh Karama Qamzawi said that the number of applicants Basic Examination for the the Academic Year 2008-2009 was 8,830 students, including 5,495 males and 3,335 females, also those missed it were155 students of whom 99 were males and 56 females, those attended the examination were 8675 students, including 5396 males and 3279 females, 7812 has been successful students, including 4678 males and 3134 females, success rate was 90%. The best top school was Al Shahid Ba'amar basic School from Gheil Bawazir and was ranked with five of its students taking first position among the top ten. Second was Mrs. Aisha School from Mukalla with 4 students and Al-ssadiq school Basic School of gheil Bawazir occupied the third position with three students Dr. Qamzawi congratulated the top students and wished them success in thier future life and to excel in the coming stages, Yemen News Agency (SABA) learned that for the first time the 38 top students will honored Ministry of Education on Tuesday at a ceremony to be held in Bel-faqeeh Center in Mukalla.
