Prime Minster Ali Mujawar discussed on Saturday with the Turkish Health Minister Recep Akdag the cooperation between the two brotherly countries in the medical field and how to avail from the Turkish experiences in this field. Mujawar affirmed the two countries' mutual keenness on strengthening the brotherly ties in the different areas, describing the current relations between the two brotherly countries as distinct.
The meeting dealt with the Turkey-supported central hospital to be established in Ibb province which aims at enlarging and developing the medical services in the province and enhancing the joint cooperation between Yemen and Turkey in the medical field.The Turkish minister confirmed his country's willingness to boost its cooperation with Yemen in the various economic, cultural and health fields, pointing to the fruitful results achieved within the health cooperation agreement signed between the two countries in 2008.
He noted the remarkable progress Yemen has achieved in the medical field.
