Turkish health minister arrives in Yemen

Turkish Health Minister Professor Recep Akdag and his accompanying delegation arrived in Sana'a Friday in a two-day official visit. Speaking to Saba, the Turkish official said that he would hold talks with Yemeni officials in the Ministry of Public Health and Population on aspects of the joint cooperation between the two countries."This visit to Yemen comes in the framework of the implementation of a protocol signed by the two Ministries of Health in both countries", said Akdag, stressing his country's keenness to enhance relations of cooperation with Yemen, particularly in the areas of health.
Akdag added the two sides would approve the implementation of some provisions of the protocol signed by Yemen and Turkey as well as the opening of a number of joint projects.
