Governor meets US ambassador

Mr. Abdulgader Ali Hilal, the governor of Hadhramaut, received Mr. Thomas Krajski, the American ambassador in Yemen. In the meeting, the governor and the American ambassador reviewed many issues regarding, investment opportunities and the growing movement of investment in the governorate.
They also discussed a number of issues, including the efforts of the Yemeni government to strengthen the Coast Guard with the help of American security to secure the Yemeni Coast.
The idea of establishing an American university adopted by the private sector was brought up in the discussion.
The ambassador praised the success of the presidential and local elections in the country on the 20th of last September, describing it as an appropriate way to continue on the path of democratic approach in Yemen.
He also hailed the outcome of donors' conference to qualify the Yemeni economy.
Mr. Krajski stressed his country's continued support for the development process in order to complete the infrastructure in all areas of Yemen.
