Omear meets head of DIACA

The deputy major of Hadhramaut Governorate, Mr.Omear Mubarak Omear, received in his office Mr. Leen Baris , chief of Developing Isolated Areas Charitable Association (DIACA); an Australian Association concerns with developing the remote areas and currently working in Socatra. Mr.Baris gave Mr.Omear a full explanation of the projects, including the establishment of a free four-year studying school for teaching computer in English language for the people of Socatra. He also shed light on the newly- graduated batch of 24 students and the process of registration for the new students of the Island. The DIACA prepared plans to plant lemon trees in every house in order to provide the inhabitants of Socata with Vitamin C which the Island is experiencing shortage of this important kind of Vitamin. The meeting was attended Eng.Awad Ganzel, director general of the Organization of Water and Sanitation and Mr.Mahomud bin Dahdah- Hadhramaut''s adviser for administrative units.
