Program on integrating social gender in SCER's work kicked off

A training program on integrating the social gender's issues in the work mechanism of Supreme Commission for Elections and Referendum (SCER) was kicked off here on Sunday.
The two week-long training program carried out by Youth Leadership Development Foundation in cooperation with the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES), targets 20 trainees from the SCER's general directors and employees of Women's General Unit in the SCER.
In the program, the participants will receive lectures on the social gender issues, the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW).
The trainees will receive information over women's condition in Yemen, the local and international reports related to women and their political rights, advocacy, thoughts marketing, and social gender's indications.
