Governor meets Vice President of Canadian Nexen in Middle East

Mr.Abdugader Ali Hilal, the governor of Hadhramaut met yesterday , Mr. Larry Marffy, the deputy of the general president of the Canadian Nexen Company in the Middle East, who is currently visiting Yemen. The governor and Mr.Marffy reviewed the activities of the company in the field of exploration and production. They also discussed the company's future plans in the areas of the concession and security measures to protect oil installations in the province. At the meeting, Mr.Hilal expressed his satisfaction with company's efforts to develop of its work and its contribution in social development projects, emphasizing the need to absorb the local labor in the company's various activities. For his part, Mr. Marffy praised the level of technical cooperation between the company and the Yemeni government in the framework of common interests between the two sides, praising the facilities and great cooperation shown by the local authority and the preservation of the local councils to the company's activity, stating that the company always strives to develop its activities in the future. The meeting was attended by Dr.Salem Bagdim, Director-General of the Office of the Ministry of Oil and Dr. Jamal Obakri, General Manager of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Office in Hadhramaut.
