Prime Minister Ali Mujawar held talks on Monday with Deputy Chairman of TOTAL Company for the Middle East Affairs on the current arrangements to launch exporting Yemeni liquefied gas from Bilhaf station in Shabwa. The TOTAL's official briefed that the 1st shipment of gas would be exported in the mid of next September. He assured TOTAL's commitment to pay the compensations for the fishermen and land owners who were affected by the project according to the singed agreements in this regard. The talks dealt with the production of the company and its development in block No (10). The TOTAL's official made reference that the daily production of the company will reach 60,000 bpd by the end of 2009, comparing to 35 bpd in 2007. He pointed out that the company would keep on its development works during the coming years that aim at increasing the oil production quantity with a total investment cost for the three coming years at $1 billion. Mujawar appreciated TOTAL's efforts to develop its exploration activities, affirming the government's adherence to supporting those efforts and enhancing partnership principles with TOTAL
