The Association of Muslim Scholars has called for the protection of the unity of Yemen and putting interests of the nation above all considerations The association asked, in its final statement in its meeting in Istanbul during 6-7 July, the opposition to put interests of the Yemeni nation a top priority and to safeguard the Yemeni unity to prevent external intervention.
The statement called all Yemenis to sit together to solve their problems and to be one line.It also called the USA to set free Sheikh Mohammed al-Moayad and his companion.The meeting also dealt with a number of issues and the latest developing concerning the Muslim and Arab nation all over the world.
