In its meeting chaired by Prime Minister Ali Mujawar, the cabinet agreed on Tuesday on the supply loan to Social Fund for Development (SFD) for the 3rd phase signed between Yemen and Islamic Bank for Development on May 30, 2007.
The US$10 million project aims at poverty alleviation,improving living conditions of targeted classes by providing them with basic social and economic services.
The cabinet also agreed on regulating developmental loan treaty for SFD's third phase signed between Yemen and International Development Authority on May 07, 2007.
According to the treaty, the authority would provide additional loan to the fund for supplying the third phase for carrying out 4400 development projects.
The cabinet authorized Minister of Planning and International Cooperation along with concerned official to complete the constitutional measures for signing the treaty.
