Training course in areas of reproductive health services, prevention of infection and control started today in Seiyoun. Province of Hadhramaut .
The course is organized by the Office of the Ministry of Public Health and Population Wadi Hadhramout and Sahara in coordination with the ministry's sector of population, with the support of Yemeni- German (G - T - Z). Of reproductive health projects.The session lasting for t three days and with 22 trainees participating from District of Tarim, Al-qatn Seiyoun, Shibaam, Hourah and Wadi Al-ain ,The Participants are health workers, Medical Assistants and midwives .The participants gain three skills that will enable them to develop their professional skills and to offer the best services in the area of reproductive health and infection control. The lectures will dealt with a number of concepts and knowledge about the care of pregnant mothers, steps to provide reproductive health services, nature of clean delivery and the risk of infection of the genital tract during childbirth and ways of preventing infection in such cases. The program includes the definition of concepts of family planning and selection of appropriate means to r the couple in the process of organizing themself. In addition to define and understand the sexually transmitted disease methods of transmission and prevention by the participants, The present session is in the context of a series of refresher courses for health workers in the area of reproductive health services.
