Vice president inspects Aden's projects

Vice President Abdo Rabo Mansour Hadi paid on Monday an inspection visit to a number of governmental facilities in some Aden's districts. Accompanied by Governor of Aden Adnan al-Jefri and Secretary General of Aden Local Council Abdul-Karim Shaef, Hadi inaugurated Awsan Crown Hotel in Ma'ala' and toured its suites and rooms as well as its equipments. The four-star luxury hotel is composed of four stories include 16 suites and 60 rooms in addition to service facilities. Hadi who called on local investors to invest in this field, visited Ma'ala' port and inspected the ongoing work there and nature of trade activities. He was briefed by General Director of Fishery Wealth's Office on exporting fish. He then inspected conditions of marine forces. The vice president then paid a visit to Aden Gulf Management in Attuwahi where he discussed with concerned officials there nature of the ongoing work in different fields. Chairman of the Board of the management presented a report on practical duties including agreement wit Dubai Ports World. The report included returning a number of specialized cadres to the company. The report also included means of the ongoing work in receiving and exporting containers, indicating that there is good percentage of increase the number of containers. Hadi inspected the ongoing work in requalifying Aden Hotel in Khour Maksar city in preparation to receive audience of gulf 20 championships. Visiting the investment location in Gold More area, the vice president directed local council to implement president's directives concerning lands granted to investors to activate the location which is frozen since early 1990s.
