Free Medical and surgical camp starts In Douan District

Hadhramout's Governor Salem Ahmed Al-khanbashi today inaugurated the first surgical medical camp services that will run from 2-6 June 2009; services offered will include urology and general surgery. The camp was s organized by the development Authority of Kheilat Bugshaan and the Doan Hospital Administration.. He was taken around the medical camp and later was briefed by Dr. Usama Abdallah Rabieh, Administrator of the Doan Hospital on the activities going on in the camp. The free medical camp is having medical specialists from King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Riyadh, within the camp five sections are: offering different services including urinary tract surgery, and anesthesia, colon, surgery, General Surgery ,Cancer tumors, as well as to local medical specialists.The organizers pointed out that the camp was able to carry out during the first two days 56 free surgical operations , cases of kidney tumors ( inpatient cases)with bladder stones and yesterday we were able to receive , Checkups as well as observing of 850 cases, out of this 68 cases were singled out for surgical operations..during his cross-sections tour of the camp, Mr. Al-khanbashi appreciated the efforts made by Doctors and Specialists from Saudi Arabia also local doctor’s contribution in providing such humanitarian medical services, and their help in alleviating the suffering of the citizens. This helps patient not to look for medical services overseas and not to undergo the fatigue of travel especially in light of the difficulty situations of living . He wished all those contributed and supervisors of camp as well as supporters every success, and be rewarded by God to serve humanity.
