District today celebrated the ninth anniversary of the establishment of the Republic of Yemen in the 22 of May 1990 with speeches. He said: it is not the ethics of the people of Hadhramaut to call for division, fragmentation, violence and hatred. The history has proved that they always seek love and unity, tolerance and peace, pointing to the achievements made by the unity of Yemen inA;-qatn District since the blessed reunification of Yemen in various areas and service development, calling on all to maintain the national unity and active participation in the construction and development and to avoid false slogans calling for the division. He noted the experience of local councils and the importance of calling these conferences of the local authority in the provinces is to promote the local government powers and to asses the experience of local authority and their role in development. Mr. Junayd in the context of his speech inaugurated the delivery of financial compensation to victims who had their homes completely destroyed in the catastrophic floods and rain in the Wadi of Hadramout late October last year, stressing that the Compensation to the victims will continue in the coming days and for those affected by the partially destroyed homes in the Districts of Wadi Hadhramaut. Also at the ceremony speeches were also delivered by the Director-General of Al-qatn District Mr, Mabrook Bin Sweidaan and on behalf of social figures Mr. Hamad Bel-haamidh ..
