- Vaccination teams reaches 93% of the children in Wadi Hadhramaut

The number of
children vaccinated at the end of the third day of the national campaign against polio in Wadi Hadramout and Sahraa has reached 63, 596 children, of whom 11 thousand and 823 child aged less than one year and 51,772 children less than five years. The coverage so far reached 93 percent of the total target The director of the Expanded Program on Immunization for Wadi Hadhramaut Mr. Jaafar Rubeyah Bin Ubeidillah told Yemen News Agency (Sabaa) that those results ,are the outcome of 353 teams out of 358 teams working in the field for the whole region - Wadi and \of Sahraa. These teams in the past three days of the campaign visited the entire region where by they reached 48,918 houses, or 103% of the total households in the targeted areas of this campaign .. He pointed out that the District of Zomakh and Manwakh which are in the desert as well in remote areas and some valleys in the Sub-Districts of Al-Soum we did not receive their reports yet until the time of this bulletin giving out the results of the working teams, because of the geographic remoteness and the difficulty of communication with the teams working there..
