Mr.Salim Ahmed Al- Khanbashi Governor of Hadhramout., head of the local council , on the occasion of celebrating the World labor day, Hadhramout Industrial Complex was honored with the Shield of Excellence given by the Office of Social Affairs and Labor, Hadhramaut region in honor of a model establishment by virtue of performance. Hadhramaut complex was selected the best out of various competing companies working in the province.
During. the ceremony speeches were made , Mr. Darwish Sweid   Director-General of the of Social Affairs and Labor Haddramout coast office , made a his on behalf of local authority and the Office of Social Affairs.. He welcomed the guests and said that this honor is an entitlement to a performance of this industry in order to honor its commitment to the complex job of discipline, absorption of a number of employments from province.   And neighboring provinces. In his speech he made inside the industrial complex, confirmed his committeemen to the process of the minimum wage and salaries of workers in the complex .Director-General of Hadhramout Industrial Complex Mr. Jamal   Helmi   gave his speech in which he thanked the Office of Social Affairs and Labor its   selection of the Industrial complex and in honoring it with the shield of excellence, he said, We are delighted with this honor and is a great incentive for us to pay everything we can to make the industrial   complex an industrial model at the provincial level in general, He added in his speech that they are going to establish two more industrial units within complex this year, which wall lead to the absorption many of the local workforce.
