The Office of Health and Population in the
Socotra Archipelago, has taken a number of precautionary measures to counter swine flu in pigs, which appeared recently in Mexico and began to spread in a number of countries in the world. The Department has issued a circular guiding the epidemiological surveillance on the swine flu in order to circulate it to air ports, sea ports and other relevant bodies and the relevant authorties of the archipelago.
