Al-Qirbi: Calls to Yemen's separation threaten region's security and stability

Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Abu al-Qirbi met on Sunday with ambassadors of Arab countries accredited to Yemen, during the meeting developments on the local and regional arenas were reviewed as well as exchange views upon them.
Al-Qirbi explained that this meeting comes in the framework of periodic meetings held by the Foreign Ministry with the ambassadors of Arab and foreign countries accredited to Yemen.
Foreign Minister briefed the Arab ambassadors on the current events in a number of areas of some directorates of southern and eastern governorates. He pointed out that some outlaw elements carry out acts of violence and transfer peaceful demonstrations to wicked works which Yemeni people unfamiliar with such works. He indicated that that His Excellency President Ali Abdullah Saleh directed the security agencies to deal calmly and to be keen to preserve the lives and property and to maintain the security, stability and seize any outlaw elements. FM al-Qirbi stressed that any actions or statement affecting Yemen's unity, is moving beyond the red lines, pointing out that any calls to separate Yemen does not threaten the security and stability in Yemen, but the entire region. Al-Qirbi praised the positions of the region's countries, political analysts, who warned of the seriousness and objectives of those suspicious calls and announce rejection of any move or action affects the unity of Yemen, as well as their confidence in the ability of political leadership and the Yemeni people to address any issues through dialogue.
