Governor of Hadhramout Mr. Salim Ahmed Al-khanbashi
emphasized on the importance of developing and activating the twinning agreement between the province of Hadhramaut and Dhofar Governorate Sultanate of Oman. As well as said the strengthening the fraternal relations of all aspects of trade cooperation and exchange between the two countries for the benefits of of two neighbors in the growing bilateral relations between our country and the Sultanate of Oman, This came in the meeting today in the Mukalla between the President and members of fraternity and friendship parliamentary Oman Yemen headed by His Excellency Msallam Bin Ali Bin Mohammad Al-maashani, who is visiting our country now. The governor on behalf of Hadhramaut local authority, showed his appreciation and gratitude to the fraternal people of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government to respond quickly to provide support and technical assistance to our country to cope with the effects of damage made by the rain and floods in the province of Hadramout and Al-mahra in October last year. For his part, HE. Musallam Ali bin bin Mohammed Al-maashani - President of the brotherhood and friendship Society of Oman expressed his happiness to visit Yemen, His meeting officials in the province was. To exchange expertise, deepen the bonds of communication and the use of common experiences in the parliamentary area, which was based on the needs of development. He stressed that members of the brotherhood and friendship of Yemen - Oman will seek executive leadership and urges the two countries to increase the effectiveness of all conventions and the development of joint cooperation in various fields and to promote and develop the partnership relations between the two countries.
The meeting was attended by the Secretary-General of the Local Council of Hadhramaut Mr. Seed Ali Ba-yumein and Undersecretary for Technical Affairs Engineer Fahad Saeed Menhali and a member of the House of Representatives President of the Assembly of brotherhood and friendship parliamentary Yemen - Oman Mr. Saeed Mbarak Douman and a member of the House of Representatives Chairman of the Committee on Culture and Information Council Mr. Ahmed Saeed Al-sowail and a number officials other officials. The Oman delegation made a visit to Hadramout University for Science and Technology, there they were met by the President of the University Dr.Ahmad Omar Bamshmoos , during which they were acquainted with lithe education and academic activities in the university , listening to the President of University explain to them the level of the evolution of the university and the attention it pays to the Omani students enrolled in university. The delegation also met with Omani students studying in the faculties of the universities. And urged them to make more efforts to further their education to serve their country in various fields.
