Dr Ali Mohammed Mujawar , Yemen Prime Minister said on Sunday the date of 27 April would remain an immortal day in history of the people of Yemen who translated their real will in embodiment of the national democratic pursuit and aborted totalitarian means from which the people had suffered bitterly. The people attained that by resorting to ballot boxes in the first competitive parliamentary elections in Yemen that resulted in choosing the first parliament in the unity state. Dr Mujawar affirmed that the government, in implementation of directives of President Ali Abdullah Saleh, would go ahead in enhancement and development the democratic experience as it is the ideal way for realising development and advance to the country at all levels. He said democracy is the successful option for confronting instigators of regionalism and advocates of hatred trying to turn back the wheel of history. In his statement to Al-Mithaq Newspaper published in its Monday’s issue, Dr Mujawar made it clear that what the tensed ones are carrying out in some areas of the southern governorates of chaotic acts and riot as well as disturbance of security and stability and public peace would increase insistence and confidence in the soundness of “ our democratic approach as a choice for encountering those of outdated ideas and mentalities that are no longer suitable for any time because they run against the current of development of the Yemeni society and the entire humanity.” Muja war warned those tensed who dream to go back to the time of fragmentation against the consequences of their adventures that reflect the ugliest images of extremism and being hostage to the will of outside parties hostile to Yemen. He said the government would not stand hand folded against those acts
