The post offices and postal savings of Hadhramaut province has given disbursements of 80% to those affected by the disaster of rain and floods in the province of Hadramout and Al-mahra in October of last year.Mr. Mohammed Abdul Rahman Hamid ul-din - director general of the General Authority for Post and Postal Savings Hadramout region said that his office has completed f approximately 80% of the first phase, that benefited were Two thousand, one hundred and ten of those affected at the coast of Hadhramout and the total amount given is two hundred and ten million riyals, pointing the system of payment is done easy way in all post offices in the coastal area of the province. He stressed on the need for every affected individual to bring with him all documents that proves that he is victim so that he can be paid his amount, which is one hundred thousand Riyals, a directive by His Excellency the President of the Republic, pointing out that there are some difficulties being faced when processing the work especially when there is similarity of some of the names and the omission of others, stressing that these problems will be addressed in coordination with members of local councils in the district to confirm the names that show where any problems or similarity arises.
