Work started today in Seiyoun with the first meeting of the school headmasters, headmistress and under-.secretaries of schools in Wadi Hadhramaut and the Sahraa, organized by the Girl Guides Association of Yemen. The aim of the the two-day meeting that being attended by 20 Head teachers and Undersecretaries of school from Sayoon, Tarim and Al-,qatn Districts that have girl guides movement is to inform them of the movement, its goals, objectives and curricular in addition to that , discussing other issues related to this activity and the role that head teacher and the undersecretaries should take in the future towards rhe developments of girl guides work among girls students . .At the opening of the meeting, which was held Al -Khalifa Umar Bn al-Khattab girls school in Seiyoun . The Under-Assistant for the Wadi and the Sahara Mr. Fahad Salah Al-a’agam confirmed that the culture of the community for many years is based on providing voluntary services.In this regard he called on the movement to double the outreach and awareness programs and to intensify the activities that help to increase the numbers of those involved in the activity of the guiding movement, respecting the role officials of the Office of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Wadi and Sahraa to harness all their potentiality to preserve what has been achieved and the successes in the framework of the girl guide movement. He expressed the readiness of the local authority in the Wadi to the Girl Guide movement in the area.The Opening of the meeting was attended by the Director of the Department of Education Seiyoun District, Anwar Hussain Minibari and the commissioner in-charge girl, guides in HWadi HAdhramaut Huda Matran p and a number of officials in the concerned authorities.
