Hadhramout province Governor, familirized himself today in the city of Mukalla, on the efforts being done by YECO Mukalla branch in the procurement of wheat crop from farmers at Hadramout province with incentive price, Thus to implement the directives of His Excellency President Mr. Ali Abdullah Saleh, President of the Republic and the support of the farmers in this expansion in the cultivation of food crop
During his meeting with the Deputy Director-General for transport and farmers affairs Mr. Naji Allboud , leaders , branch officials in the Office of Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperative Union branch called them to redouble their efforts in the process of purchasing and receiving of the quantities of wheat crop from the farmers so that they can take advantage of the offer. The aim behind the offer was to encourage farmers to increase their crop and to expand agricultural land area for wheat, in which the production for this season is expected to reach about 25 tons
