Gold explorations go on in Hadramout

The underway explorative works of gold are continuing in the current and future phases in Madn valley in Hadramout province.Hadramout governor Salem Ahmed al-Khanbashi along with Chairman of Geological Survey and Mineral Resources Board (GSMRB) Ismael al-Janad got acquitned with the ongoing explorative works in Madn valley implemented by the emirates company, Thani Dubai Mining.The governor and al-Janad were briefed by Director of the company Khalid al-Duba'ei on the exploratory drillings and presented a detailed explanation on the project, emphasizing the company has carried out about 28,000 meters of the drilling and exploration works during the fist phase.During their field visit, the two officials valued the Emirates company' efforts and the good results achieved in the first phase, wishing more achievements in field of minerals explorations, special gold.According to GSMRB's statistics, the Madn valley area of Hadramout province has a number of mining sites where the estimated minerals reserve is about 678 tons among them there are 15g of gold per ton and 11g of silver per ton in which Thani Dubai Mining company is currently working
