Yemen, IMF review financial, monetary developments

Yemen and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) reviewed in Amman, Jordan, on Saturday the cooperation relations in enhancing the economic, financial and monetary stability in the country.
During their meeting, Finance Minister Mohammad Zemam and IMF Mission Chief for Yemen, Khaled Sakr discussed the latest developments in the financial and monetary indicators in Yemen.
They touched upon several issues related to the implementation of fiscal and monetary reforms, including the tax and customs reforms, and the development in oil and gas production, in addition to the upcoming review of the national reform program.
The economic issues stipulated in the Peace and Partnership Agreement and the repercussions of the country's security situation on oil production were also reviewed in the meeting.
