Yemen, US discuss efforts to encourage oil investments

Minister of Oil and Minerals Mohamed bin Nabhan has discussed with the U.S. ambassador to Yemen Matthew Tueller the efforts to encourage companies to invest in oil, gas and minerals fields in Yemen.
In the meeting, Nabhan valued the role played by the U.S. to get Yemen out of the situations it has experienced.
The Minister confirmed that there are indications that confirm the existence of promising areas filled with mineral ores, whether in land or offshore areas in Yemen.
He stressed the importance of the support provided by the countries sponsoring the GCC initiative and the peace and partnership agreement to achieve the stability, which in turn will bring more investments to the country.
For his part, Tueller affirmed the importance of continuing to encourage the American and international companies.
at the end of the meeting, the ambassador invited the oil minister to visit the U.S. to hold direct talks with the companies.
