Dr al-Alimi has expressed his happiness for sharing with the Malaysians from Yemeni origins their joy and called them for more connection and communication with the Yemeni educational and investment institutions for enhancement of channels of communication between Yemen and Malaysia. He has also thanked the Yemeni ambassador to Malaysia and the embassy staff for their efforts in maintaining link between the Malaysians from Yemeni origin and the history and culture of their ancestors. For his part, the chairman of the Yemeni Malaysian Charity Society in Kuala Lumpur Datu Hussein al-Habashi welcomed Dr al-Alimi for attending the party and said despite the centuries of their settling in Malaysia they are interested and sticking to their home country of their predecessors in Yemen.
