The German ambassador to Yemen Walter Hassmann affirmed on Tuesday that his country would continue to support the paths of development and stability in Yemen. During his meeting with Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Mohamed al-Maitami, Hassmann noted that the German government has allocated an additional funding of � 24 million to support the Basic Nutrition Project of the Maternal and Child Health Program (the 3rd phase) in Yemen through the World Food Programme (WFP).

In the meeting, al-Maitami and Hassmann discussed the issues related to the bilateral cooperation between Yemen and Germany and ways of boosting them to serve the common interests.

Al-Maitami hailed the German government's support to Yemen, affirming Yemen's keenness to strengthen the frames of joint cooperation with Germany.
