The International Conference for Public Administration held recently in Jordan has adopted Yemen's experience in the administrative reform field, deputy Minister of Civil Services and Insurance Nabil Shamsan said. Upon his arrival in Sana'a on Friday coming from Amman after his participation in the conference organized by the World Bank on February 22-25, Shamsan said to Saba that the conference had focused essentially on the Arab and international experiences to reform the public administration system and availing from new experiences in setting up a strategic plan for reforming and upgrading the public administration system in Iraq particularly in Kurdistan province. Shamsan added that a delegation from Iraq and Kurdistan is to pay a visit to Yemen during the forthcoming days under the WB's supervision to discuss the possible means for reforming the administrative conditions and developing them in Iraq. "The conference dealt with many work papers and regional and international experiences in different aspects of public administration, including the administrative reorganization, job description, plans of paying salaries, training and financial and economic reforms", Shamsan added.
