PM receives Kuwait Fund director

Prime Minister Ali Mujawar received on Sunday director of the Kuwait
Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) Abdul-Wahab al-Badr. During
the meeting, they discussed cooperation relations between Yemen and the
fund, specially those concerning the allocation of $200 million pledged
by the State of Kuwait in the London Donors Conference. Prime
Minister highly valued the role played by Kuwait in supporting
development process in Yemen, expressing comfort regarding the process
of the Kuwait financial allocations. He noted the importance
of accelerating the finalization of preparation of finance agreements
for the agreed on projects to be implemented, voicing appreciation for
the efforts of Kuwait in gearing up this process. For this
part, the Fund director affirmed that the fund will continue its works
in the process of development in Yemen, making clear that after the
signing of this agreement of the Social Fund for Development at $50
million, preparation will start to hold other agreement drafts to be
signed soon. He noted the concrete development Yemen is going through during this stage.
