Governor holds meeting with oil compaies representitives

Governor of Hadramout province, Salim Ahmed AL-Khanbshi chaired an expanded meeting that included representatives of oil companies operating in the province of Hadramout,general managers of the relevant directors , chairmen of ministerial offices of oil and minerals in the valley and the coast and social affairs and work in Hadhramaut related to oil companies which are operating in the coast and the valley.
The meeting was devoted to address all issues relating to the work of oil companies, including issues of employment and environmental impacts and social development . After extensive discussions and considerable attention by the leaders of the local authority in the province to all the relevant issues raised in this meeting, the Governor of Hadramout stressed the need to enhance the work of oil companies operating in the province with regard to coordination with relevant bodies in the local authority to review all agreements made by the these companies, companies working with subcontractors, particularly with regard to employment and environmental aspects to hold regular annual meetings to evaluate this activity as well as to identify the mechanism of action of certain standard of social activity and a list of follow-up of the Council of Ministers in this regard.
