Yemen sells 1.6 million barrels of November crude to Unipec

The Supreme Committee on Crude Oil Marketing on Sunday approved selling 1.6 million barrels of Masila crude oil for loading in November to Unipic Petroleum Company.
The crude sale's approval made during the committee's meeting chaired by Prime Minister Mohammed Salem Basindwa to endorse the crude oil sales of November 2014, with an estimated quantity reaches 3 million barrels of Masila and Marib crude.
Unipic Company, which has placed the best bid, bought the 1.6 million barrels of Masila crude at a premium of $0.72 a barrel to dated Brent.
Regarding Marib crude oil, the committee agreed to sell the November total quantity amounting to 1.4 million barrels to Aden Refinery Company at the dated Brent price (without any discount or rise.)
