The 9th Yemeni-Omani Committee round is to be held in Oman's capital, Muscat on February 28. The meeting would be chaired jointly by Transport minister Ibrahim Khalid al-Wazeer and his Omani counterpart Khamis Mubarak al-Alawi. The two-day meeting will discuss cooperation agreements in areas such as transport, trade and industry, vocational training, environment, justice, investment, exchange of information, telecommunication and traffic, al-Wazeer said. Among the agreements to be signed during the meeting deals on cooperation in land transport of goods and passengers as well as standardizations. The issue of the internal system of the Yemeni-Omani Marine Committee would be raised at the meeting. A memorandum of understanding on technical and vocational training cooperation would be signed as well. The two sides will discuss the signing of other agreements on cooperation in natural conservations, justice and improving the investment climate. They would be signed later. Furthermore, they will discuss the finalizing of the second phase of the fish network connection through light fibers.
