Islamic Society starts rebuilding in Dawan

Technical Committees of Islamic Society Consultative Engineering Office have completed all the technical arrangements concerning the final screening of houses totally affected by the recent rains and floods in the provinces of Hadramout and Mahara. According to Dr Zain Salim Bin Aqill , General Coordinator of the Islamic Society Reconstruction Project,the results of the final screening were 18 houses have been identified in the Directorate of Duan will be rebuilt after being completely collapsed due to the recent rains and floods,five of which in Madhoon village and six in Addoufah. The funding came from an Emirati woman philanthropist. Mr Bin Aqil also pointed out that the houses which will be rebuilt might be identified in accordance with the criteria included in the list of reconstruction approved by the administrative body of the Islamic Society which conform to the requirements of the donor for the reconstruction of these houses. He further noted that the construction contract will be signed in the next two days with the contractor who was awarded the tender,after receiving the land where these houses will be built.
