The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) praised here on Sunday the achievements and arrangements the government made to host 20th Gulf Cup by the end of 2010.During his meeting with the Prime Minister Ali Mujawar, AFC President Mohammad Bin Hammam confirmed the AFC's keenness on presenting the necessary technical support to the government efforts in this regard.Mujawar praised the AFC's role in supporting the exerted efforts for developing the Yemeni football and its technical and financial assistance.He highlighted distinguished efforts of Bin Hammam to serve the Asian football in general and the Yemeni football in particular.Moreover, the meeting dealt with the underway preparations in Yemen for hosting the 20th Gulf Cup, confirming the significance of the AFC's logistic support to Yemen to host this important sport event, especially in training the Yemeni cadres, who will be responsible for supervising and administration.
